Visa and Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to the UK

1. For Estonian citizens

Estonian citizens are allowed visa-free entry to the United Kingdom for up to 6 months. Entry is permitted only with a valid passport.

From April 2, 2025, an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) must be obtained prior to travel to the United Kingdom.

To apply for ETA, please send the following documents to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.:

1. High-quality passport scan (.jpg format);
2. Photo on a white background (.jpg format) — photo requirements;
3. Personal information:
   • Contact phone number;
   • Email address;
   • Home address;
   • Employment details (position, company name, address, phone number);
   • If applicable — second citizenship details.

You can also submit documents in person at our visa center.

After receiving the documents, an invoice will be issued. Payment is made via bank transfer.

ETA cost: 55 EUR

ETA processing time: 4–5 working days after payment

ETA validity period: 2 years or until passport expiration

2. For Russian citizens 

Russian citizens are required to obtain a visa to enter the United Kingdom.

The procedure is the same as for stateless persons with a residence permit in Estonia (see below).

3. For stateless with Estonia residency (with undefined citizenship)

Stateless persons with a residence permit must obtain a visa to enter the United Kingdom.

Personal presence is required. We provide the following services:

• Filling out the application form;
• Document scanning;
• Payment of the consular fee;
• Booking an appointment at the UK Visa Application Centre.

Required documents:

1. Passport;
2. ID card;
3. Application form (filled out in our office);
4. Documents confirming the purpose of the trip:
   • Tourism — hotel booking and itinerary (optional);
   • Visiting friends/relatives — invitation letter;
   • Business trip — supporting documents (exhibition, conference, etc.).
5. Bank statement in English:
   • A statement showing the current account balance is sufficient;
   • It is recommended that the amount is at least twice the expected expenses;
   • If traveling with family — one statement from a family member is sufficient.
6. Employment or study certificate:
   • From your workplace or school;
   • Membership documents of any organizations (if applicable);
   • The certificate should state your position, experience, and income (including actual);
   • The document must be signed and stamped by the organization.

Visa cost:
Short-term visa up to 6 months (Standard Visitor visa) — 460 EUR

Processing time:
1.5–2 months

4. For citizens of Ukraine

Ukrainian citizens are required to obtain a visa to enter the United Kingdom.

The procedure is the same as for stateless persons with a residence permit in Estonia (see above).
